The next phase Saturday 5th March 2022

Saturday March 5th 2022 has been a bitter sweet day, we woke to news that Sue’s beloved aunt Doreen passed away from a long illness, mercifully she slipped away in the night.

Our home for the last 22 years sold at auction and we can now put firm plans into place for our overlanding adventures. The only real plan is that we are able to pick any initial destination on the map. There are some things, which are only minor that will have to be addressed which pertain to our overlanding truck. Mainly the initial servicing, whether it is in our home state or another.

The auction process was nerve wracking and did cause me some anxiety. I had doubted the ability of our real estate agent, whether he was being genuine and had our interests. I was wrong, 2 days prior to the auction we had met with and he explained a couple of scenarios on how the auction was to be conducted, what his expectations were for the known bidders would be. We met again minutes prior to the auction and also with auctioneer to discuss the conduct and tactics for the auction.

We are delighted with how the auction went and the result that was achieved!
